Welcome to the final race of our 2024 Killarney Series. This is where the champions will be crowned in the culmination of 3 thrilling events
Under 13 Girls
Century City Criterium
The Century City Sport Festival celebrates its 12th year of existence. The City Cycling Club has been hosting the criterium for the Sports Festival from the first edition and has seen it grow in leaps and bounds. Racing is around a 1.5 kilometre circuit which is secured by the very competent Century City Property Owners security staff. This is an ideal event to test the legs before the WP Road League that commences from the middle of March.
The season opening Century City Criterium takes place on 1 March 2020. The ever popular crit race is hosted by Century City in conjunction with the City Cycling Club. Racing starts at 8h00.
Youth Day
Youth Day – Killarney

We’re throwing open the doors to all comers at the Youth Day Killarney event. Doesn’t matter what bike you’re riding, we’ll get you on the track. So kids – get your buddies to come and join us for some great fun!!!!!
Killarney Youth Event 1
It’s time for the youngsters to play on the big track – Sunday 11 May sees the youth event at Killarney and the kids are going to be on the main track!!!!
Racing starts at 8h00 with the Under 11’s and culminating at 11h15 with the U19 men
Registration opens at 7h00 in the new pits area at Killarney.
Killarney Youth Event 2
After a fantastic day of racing 2 weeks ago, we are back at Killarney for round 2 of the scholars racing
Racing starts at 8h00 with the Under 11’s and culminating at 11h55 with the U19 men

Killarney Reverse
The Killarney Reverse race will still take place tomorrow however we will need to employ strict control measures to conform to the latest governmental restrictions.
Spectators will NOT be allowed as that will impact on the number of people we have at track side at any one time.
Please adhere to any instructions given to you by race officials.
We are trying to do our best to bring you an event that adheres to the new regulations. Please work with us on this!!! Thank you for understanding
We will be revisiting Killarney on Youth Day, with a twist!!!
Racing will be in the opposite direction to what we usually race. We will be catering for Categories 1, 2 and 3, as well as women and all of the youth categories. U19’s will have their own race and not race with Category 1.
As it’s Youth Day, we would love to see all of our youngsters joining in the fun! This will be one of the events for Youth selection for Oudtshoorn and the SA Youth Festival.
There will be strict COVID protocols in place for this event.

Like every year, we celebrate the Youth among us by racing in the controlled environment of Killarney. And while the racing is curtailed, we are there to celebrate cycling in general but the Youth in particular.
