The second of the Youth Selection Events will take place at ASLA Park, Somerset West on Sunday 19 June.
Racing starts at 9h00 with the Under 11’s and culminating at 12h15 with the U19 men
Registration opens at 8h00 at the venue.
Revolution Track League #6 (Jeanne Nell Memorial)
Revolution Track League #6
After a very long delay due to the Covid19 crisis we are finally back to riding the “Wall”. The 6th event of the Revolution Track League will also be the last in the series as the series were supposed to finish in February already. The annual Jeanne Nell Memorial Track Classic will form part of this event.
Tea Cup
Sprinters will have to opportunity to compete for the famous Jeanne Nell Memorial Trophy (Tea Cup) which was won by Bernard Esterhuizen last year. (2 events – sprint qualifiers & Keirin)

Category Leaderboard standings
The top placings is being heavily contested in certain categories with only a few points separating the top spots, whereas in other categories some riders will have to compete for the minor placings.
Please take note that all riders will remain in the category they started in last year despite their new age category.

Prize giving
All top 3 places in each category will receive medals and some prize money at the end of the event.

Covid19 Protocols
As per regulations NO SPECTATORS are allowed at the event. Wear your masks and maintain social distancing.
Perdeberg – League Race 6
Our final race of the league series will be at Perdeberg Cellars. Bring the family along for the season closing event. The restaurant at Perdeberg make the most amazing pizza’s, and the wine tasting venue will be open. So plenty to do after the race.

Registration and costs
The event forms part of the WP Road League for 2023. Entry into the league for the race number and timing board will cost an additional R50

- Category 1 and u/19 men – 150 km
- Category 2 – 100 km
- Category 3 – 100 km
- Women and u/19 women – 100 km
- Youth – Boys – u/15, u/17 – 50 km
- Youth – Girls u/17 – 50km
- Open – 50km

- 08h22 – Women and u/19 women
- 08h30 – u/15, u/17, u/19 Development and Open category
Should there be more than 12 women entering the event they will have a separate race

Cancellation Policy
The organisers of the Western Province Road League reserve the right to cancel the race should circumstances dictate. If we cancel the race 7 or more days before the time (on or before 4 June 2023) we will refund those who have entered 60% of their race fee. Anytime after that, we will refund 30% of your entry fee. Alternatively, arrangements can be made with the registration team to carry the race fee over to the rescheduled event. Should you request a refund, when the rescheduled event is announced, you will be required to pay the full amount again.
Entrants who cancel their entries 7 or more days before the time (on or before 4 June 2023) will be refunded 30% of their entry fee. Cancellations in the 7 days prior to the event, or on the day itself, will not be refunded.

It’s time for the youngsters to play on the big track – Sunday 12 June 2022 sees the youth event at Killarney and the kids are going to be on the main track!!!!
Racing starts at 13h00 with the Under 11’s and culminating at 16h15 with the U19 men
Registration opens at 11h30 in the new pits area at Killarney.

We’re throwing open the doors to all comers at the Youth Day Killarney event. Doesn’t matter what bike you’re riding, we’ll get you on the track. So kids – get your buddies to come and join us for some great fun!!!!!
Criterium Cup 2023 – Century City – Race 3
The Century City Sport Festival celebrates its 14th year of existence and City Cycling Club has been hosting the criterium for the Sports Festival from the first edition and has seen it grow in leaps and bounds. Racing is around a 1.5 kilometre circuit which is secured by the very competent Century City Property Owners security staff. This is the third race in the WP Road Criterium Cup that commenced in February.
The Century City Criterium takes place on 5 March 2023. The ever-popular crit race is hosted by Century City in conjunction with the City Cycling Club. Racing starts at 8h00.
