WP Cycling is proud to announce the name and primary sponsorship of the Time Trial series in the WP Winter League for 2016.

WP Cycling is proud to announce the launch of the Lights By Linea #HEROChallenge, forming part of the existing Winter League program. Local criterium racing was popularised locally with this series and has been instrumental in transforming cycling in Cape Town.
Changes have been made to this years league competition. Individuals will still earn points during this league on an individual basis in Cat1, 2, 3 and Ladies. A separate league will be run for the scholars age categories. It will work as follows;
Points will be awarded to riders based on their position over the finish line according to the following table;

Points have been extended from 12 to 15 places per category.
Points are accumulated in the category you have raced and will not be carried over to another category should you request to move up or down a category.
However, this year there will not be a club or team competition.

All participants will receive a discount on their entry fee of R250 if their entry is received via the online registration function before Midnight of the Thursday preceding the event. The late entry fee will be R300.

The Road Racing League 2018 will feature 3 categories this year. We will cater for our top riders, our weekend warriors as well as our genuine club cyclists. Women’s racing will be incorporated into the League.
